Licenciada en Obstetricia.  Master y Doctora en Salud Pública.  Desarrollo área de Enfermedades Transmisibles, especialmente aspectos socio-epidemiológicos del VIH/ITS, Vigilancia de segunda generación, métodos de estudio en poblaciones de difícil acceso, enfermedades emergentes-reemergentes y sus determinantes.  Desempeño laboral en Ministerio de Salud de Barcelona: Agencia de Salud POública de Barcelona; Centro de Estudios Epidemiológicos sobre las ITS y SIDA de Cataluña (CEEISCAT); World Health Organization (WHO), Geneva.Suiza; Múltiples congresos y publicaciones a nivel nacional e internacional y redes de investigación colaborativa.  Actualmente Profesora Asistente, Escuela de Salud Pública, Universidad de Chile.
