Recognition of foreign qualifications

Revalidation and recognition

Revalidation: Certifies the equivalence of a foreign degree with the respective Chilean professional university degree (homologation).

Recognition: Certification of foreign titles or degrees, being assimilated to the equivalent Chilean academic degree (Bachelor, Master’s or Doctor).

Required documents
  1. Original diploma or degree diploma, legalized by Consulate or apostilled (no copies or black backgrounds accepted).
  2. Original transcript of grades, legalized by Consulate or apostilled (must indicate the grading scale with maximum and minimum passing grades).
  3. Original study plan, legalized by Consulate or apostilled (detailing the hourly load and/or credits for each subject).
  4. Complete syllabus (description of each subject or curricular activity).
  5. Curriculum Vitae in PDF (see suggested format).
  6. Chilean identity card or passport.
  7. Original professional license, legalized by Consulate or apostilled (authorization for professional practice in the country of origin).
