Master of Cultural Management
Descripción
The main target of this program is to prepare specialists with strong skills in applied and theoretical knowledge in the field of art and cultural management. Through an anthropological and sociological analysis, it provides essential practical skills to develop a critical analysis upon the current dynamics of contemporary culture, its human territories, artistic expressions, public spaces, cultural policies, legal aspects and economic-administrative areas, in such a way that the graduated will achieve a multidisciplinary vision and integral approach.

Plan de estudios
The Master's Program is organized on a semester-based system with a flexible curriculum. The program comprises a total of 90 credits distributed over four semesters, each representing 27 hours of student work.
The curriculum includes core courses (24 credits) that provide disciplinary knowledge relevant to cultural management; complementary courses (12 credits) that broaden and deepen students' knowledge; and finally, integrative courses (54 credits) focused on the integrated application of knowledge acquired throughout the program, including the courses related to the final thesis project.
The mandatory and elective curricular activities will be determined from among those established in the study plan by mutual agreement between the student and the Academic Committee of the Program, who will guide him in accordance with the requirements of the program and the orientation of his AFE project.
Requisitos de admisión
- Applicants must have a Bachelor's or professional degree in an arts or humanities subject, or an academic degree in any subject (with a level, content and duration equivalent those required to earn a Bachelor's degree from Universidad de Chile) with experience of administration/management in an arts and cultural organisation.
- A pre-thesis project.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Spanish language
